For so many years, certain studies have been conducted for the cure of acne. Unfortunately, to this date, there is no one particular magic acne cure that can totally eliminate acne, although some products are claiming that they can. However, the news is not at all bad since a number of acne remedies are now available on the market and have worked for some people as acne cures. These acne cures largely vary according to the method of application, the severity of the acne condition, and to the type of the acne patient’s skin.

One of the typically used acne cures are those over-the-counter products such as cleansers, moisturizers, astringents, and pimple creams. Perhaps one of the unfavorable ideas about this form of acne cure is the fact that since they are taken orally, there is a great chance your body will be affected, causing serious side effects in the end. Among the many side effects of these treatments,  nausea and dizziness are very common.

There are also some vitamin A derivatives out there that can help prevent the cells in the skin from clumping together and encourage the skin to shed. Nevertheless, just like the above mentioned acne cures, these too have their side effects like psychological disorder, dryness, irritation, redness, and even birth defects.

But… do acne cures really exist?

As you may know, the market is now littered with “acne cures”, and anywhere you look at, whether you walk to a particular store in your neighborhood or surf the Internet, “acne cures” are there. However, if you would ask any dermatologist or medical researcher, they would probably say that acne cures do not really exist. While some acne medicines like accutane provide long term relief for some acne patients, still arguments persist that acne cures do not exist yet.
